Extended Production Lead Times

Dear Valued Customers,

What a year this has been. I hope you are all staying healthy and adjusting to this new normal as best as you can.

I am reaching out to you all today for a couple of reasons.

First is to thank you all for your continued and unwavering support of Sawbones. We are beyond grateful for each of you. Because of your continued support we have managed to not only recover most of our production staff in recent months but have also been able to increase our overall staffing to meet the incoming demand. This has been a huge endeavor during a global pandemic. We have been working diligently to keep our employees safe during these unprecedented times and in doing so have added a third shift to our production day. We now run day, swing, and graveyard shifts to allow for safe distancing for our employees while they are at work.

Second, while we are bringing back employees and training new ones, the orders and projects have continued to come in at a record pace. We are ecstatic to support you in your efforts in medical research, training, education, and beyond. We are still getting back up to speed however we are experiencing extended lead times of up to 6 weeks beyond our standard 2 week ready-to-ship lead time on most products. Your patience while we get everyone back online is greatly appreciated. We are doing our very best to ramp things back up as quickly and safely as possible.

We appreciate your continued faith in us as your supplier and wish to express our gratitude in continuing to work with you during this challenging time. As I have shared before, the health and safety or our employees, their families, and our community is foremost, and we will continue to practice safety and care as we navigate these uncharted waters.
