Description

The Anterior cruciate Ligament Integrity Critical Evaluation (ALICE) Knee Simulator is designed for educators in athletic training, medical school/residency, and physical therapy. It is a full-length knee joint capable of simulating four anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) integrities: intact ACL, partially torn ACL, completely torn ACL without muscle guarding, and completely torn ACL with muscle guarding. It is lightweight, easily moved, and can be used on an examination table or court/field surface. The stabilization base is designed to simulate femoral attachment at acetabulum and stabilize proximal femur. ALICE is designed to improve novice clinician/student accuracy when performing the Lachman test for ACL integrity.
