This large lumbar spine model spans from L1 to L5 and features a 20 PCF foam cortical shell with radiopaque properties for enhanced contrast under X-ray and fluoroscopy. The inner structure includes 5.5 PCF open-cell osteoporotic cancellous material that will accept cement. It is articulated with an anterior latex ligament and tan flexible discs. It is most commonly used for imaging demonstration, cement injection, and implant placement procedures in osteoporotic bone.
