This large lumbar spine model spans from L1 to the sacrum and is articulated with a 19 mm anterior latex ligament and tan flexible discs. It features a 20 PCF foam cortical shell with radiopaque properties for enhanced contrast under X-ray and fluoroscopy. The inner structure includes 5.5 PCF open-cell osteoporotic cancellous material that will accept cement. This model is most commonly used for imaging demonstration, cement injection, and implant placement procedures in osteoporotic bone.
