Ultrasound guidance has changed how vascular access is done. It hasn't changed how hard it is to learn. Reading the image, choosing the right vessel, and steering a needle, guidewire, and cannula into place take repetition.

That's why we built the RediStik ultrasound-guided vascular access (USG VA) line. Modular trainers give you realistic, repeatable practice for peripheral IV, central venous access, hemodialysis catheter placement, ECMO cannulation, and ECPR, all on ultrasound-compatible anatomy.

The line was developed in collaboration with clinicians from Texas Children's Hospital. Sawbones designs, engineeses, manufactures, and sells every model, drawing on 50+ years of building the simulation models the medical world trains on.

Ultrasound Branching 3-Vein Access Trainer with Artery

Real veins branch. Now your PIV trainer does too.

A single straight vessel doesn't reflect what you see at the bedside. The 3-Vein Trainer models three branching veins beside an artery, so learners have to identify veins on ultrasound, choose the best target, and avoid the artery. It's built for ultrasound-guided peripheral IV (USGPIV) practice, including difficult IV access (DIVA) scenarios. Available in Clear and Medium tones.

Ultrasound Internal Jugular and Carotid Cannulation Module

The core of the system.

This neck module supports central venous catheter, hemodialysis catheter, and ECMO cannula placement, plus guidewire navigation and post-removal suturing. The internal jugular vein accepts cannulas up to 24 Fr and the carotid artery up to 20 Fr. Self-healing Resonance™ tissue supports 20+ uses, and vessels are independently replaceable. Available in Clear and Medium tones.

Ultrasound Neonatal Internal Jugular and Carotid Cannulation Trainer

The smallest vessels leave the least room for error.

At neonatal scale, the internal jugular vein accepts cannulas up to 10 Fr and the carotid artery up to 8 Fr. The trainer supports ultrasound-guided, Seldinger-technique placement of CVCs, hemodialysis catheters, and ECMO cannulas, including single- or dual-site VA neck cannulation. A clear neonatal heart and air-primeable circuit let you prime vessels and chambers before scanning, so air doesn't cloud the image. Available in Clear and Medium tones.

Ultrasound Right Heart Chamber and Valve Visualization Module

See where the cannula lands.

The right atrium, right ventricle, and a flow-responsive tricuspid valve are built in clear Resonance™ tissue that's compatible with ultrasound and color Doppler. You can watch leaflet motion, assess flow, and confirm placement for right atrium and inferior vena cava cannulation in VV, VA, and other ECMO configurations.

Built to Work Together

The IJ module locks onto either heart module on a quick-turn base. The result is one system for ultrasound-guided vessel identification, needle insertion, guidewire advancement, cannula navigation, and placement confirmation.
