Description
The L2 Vertebra Model is a solid foam replica of the second lumbar vertebra, designed for training on thoracolumbar junction procedures. L2 is a frequent site of burst fractures and a common level for pedicle subtraction osteotomy (PSO) in adult spinal deformity correction.
Made of rigid solid foam throughout, the model gives trainees a consistent, uniform density for practicing vertebral body access, corpectomy, and multi-level fixation with realistic tactile feedback. It supports instruction in deformity correction, anterior and posterior column reconstruction, and instrumented fusion technique.
Key Applications
- Pedicle subtraction osteotomy (PSO)
- Corpectomy and vertebral body reconstruction
- Deformity correction
- Anterior and posterior fixation
Ideal For: Spine fellows practicing deformity correction, device representatives demonstrating corpectomy cages and rod systems, and surgical skills courses on thoracolumbar trauma.
