Description
The L3 Vertebra Model is a solid foam replica of the third lumbar vertebra, positioned at the apex of lumbar lordosis and widely used to teach mid-lumbar decompression and fusion technique. Its rigid foam structure supports realistic practice of transforaminal and posterior lumbar interbody fusion (TLIF/PLIF), minimally invasive access, and pedicle screw placement.
The model gives trainees a consistent, reproducible platform for building confidence with disc space preparation, endplate handling, and interbody device insertion before progressing to cadaveric or clinical settings.
Key Applications
- TLIF and PLIF technique
- Minimally invasive fusion
- Pedicle screw placement
- Disc space and endplate preparation
Ideal For: Residents training on TLIF/PLIF workflow, MIS spine courses, and device representatives demonstrating interbody cages and screw systems.
