Sawbones Arthroscopy Elbow with Reusable Portals can be used for diagnostic and operative techniques. Model features 7 premade portals for optimal viewing of joint space and repeatable training - no need to make new incisions between students or workshops. Replaceable insert includes cartilage erosion of capitulum, fracture of radial head, loose bodies and modified proximal end of humerus for clamping.

This model is the result of a collaboration with the ESSKA Elbow and Foremarm Committee, supported by Chairman Dr. Paolo Arrigoni, and Dr. Paulo Barco.

 

A study done evaluating the role of a new elbow Sawbones^®-Based Arthroscopy Module (e-SBAM) in the training of elbow surgeons concludes: 

"E-SBAM can be used as an effective tool for the current stepwise arthroscopic elbow training programs with the aim of improving arthroscopic elbow skills."
