Description
The E3 Biomechanics Classroom Grade Large Left Femur with Foam Cortical Shell (1130-211) is a Sawbones® whole-bone femur model used for fracture fixation and whole-bone testing labs in the University of Delaware E3 Biomechanics curriculum.
It matches the Sawbones large left femur (1130) anatomically and functionally. The rigid foam cortical shell cuts and drills more easily than plastic cortical models, which suits hands-on student labs.
Classroom Grade: Classroom grade models may have cosmetic imperfections, but their anatomy, dimensions and mechanical performance match the standard 1130. They offer a cost-effective option for student labs where every model will be drilled, plated and tested.
Test Frame Ready: Mounts to the Vernier® Go Direct® Materials Test Frame (GDX-MTF) with the E3 Biomechanics Proximal Femur Fixture (1741-200-1).
