Orthopaedics in Action™ Anatomy of a Knee Injury Module

Interactive lesson recommended for Grades 7 through 12 STEM classrooms. Students perform a biomechanics experiment on an anatomical model of the knee to diagnose a soccer player with a knee injury.

Orthopaedics In Action™ is a unique, hands-on curriculum for middle and high school STEM classrooms that features real-world challenges from orthopaedic surgery and biomedical engineering.

Students gain an understanding of knee anatomy and function and practice collecting and interpreting experimental data.
