Description
The Ultrasound Neonatal Internal Jugular Vessel Replacement (599-50-1) restores the internal jugular vein, the larger of the two vessels used for neonatal hemodialysis (HD) catheter, central venous catheter (CVC), and ECMO catheter placement via the Seldinger technique, in the Ultrasound Neonatal Internal Jugular and Carotid Cannulation Trainer or Replacement. Made at neonatal scale, this single-vessel replacement installs by sliding the vessel over a barbed connector on the heart, then using the provided forceps and lubricant to pull it through the tissue. It is the fastest way to extend the life of the parent assembly once the jugular vein has reached the end of its cannulation life, without replacing the carotid artery or tissue.
Key Features:
- Replacement internal jugular vein (the larger vessel) for the Ultrasound Neonatal Internal Jugular and Carotid Cannulation Trainer or Replacement
- Neonatal-scale
- Supports the Seldinger technique (wire-guided, ultrasound-guided) for neonatal HD, CVC, and ECMO catheter placement
- Installs with the provided forceps and a lubricant such as baby soap
- Restores neonatal HD, CVC, and ECMO catheter placement training life independent of the carotid artery
- Compatible with all tone variants of the parent assembly
